Painting has always been a way for me to relate to my surroundings, to make myself feel at home by exploring the beauty around me.  I grew up in the Four Corners area of Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah.  The Colorado Plateau will always be my first home, but I have enjoyed the west coast and have lived in Arizona and Texas, returning in 2024 to Albuquerque, New Mexico where I began my career as a full time artist.
